1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mowstash ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Mowstash is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of used lawn and landscaping equipment. We provide the platform for listing, discovering, and communicating about equipment. Mowstash does not own, sell, or buy any equipment listed on the Platform. All transactions are between the buyer and seller directly.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information during registration
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform.

4. Listing Rules

When creating listings on the Platform, you agree that:

You are the rightful owner of the item or are authorized to sell it
Your listing description is accurate and not misleading
Photos accurately represent the item being sold
You will not list prohibited items including stolen property, counterfeit goods, or items that are illegal to sell in your jurisdiction
Pricing reflects your genuine asking price

Mowstash reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these rules or our community guidelines.

5. Transactions

Mowstash facilitates communication between buyers and sellers but is not a party to any transaction. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of sellers to sell or buyers to pay. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before completing any transaction.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
Spam or send unsolicited messages
Attempt to manipulate ratings, reviews, or search results
Circumvent any security features of the Platform
Scrape or collect user data without authorization

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Mowstash and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant Mowstash a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

Mowstash is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mowstash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to damages resulting from transactions between users, equipment defects, or personal injury during meetups.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mowstash, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another user or third party.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any conduct that we determine is harmful to the Platform, other users, or our business. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
